I beg to move, That this House has considered the minimum age for marriage and civil partnership.

I have not actually looked at comparative ages in the rest of Europe.

With my Bill, if I can bring it back after the next Queen’s Speech, I would be looking to change only the age of marriage.

I thank the hon. Lady for that intervention. We cannot tell people what to do if we are not doing it ourselves.

The Home Office—yes, that is it. I thank the Minister, who is so new that I cannot remember which Department he is from.
