I asked the Home Office Minister, Laura Farris, to work with the Ministry of Justice to close a loophole which allows child sexual predators to avoid having their devices searched at our border. I held a debate on this issue in December and next month, I will bring forward a Ten Minute Rule Bill to tackle it directly. Our laws must keep up with the pace of digital change, which criminals so often exploit.
