Pauline speaks at the Council of Europe

I affirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to support the promotion and upholding of democratic systems around the world at the Winter Plenary session at the Council of Europe.

We should all abhor the plight of political prisoners in Belarus. These are individuals who are devoting their lives to freedom, truth, and justice. For their sake, the UK and the Council’s member states must take steps to hold Lukashenko’s regime to account and seek redress for its victims.
