I was delighted to visit Hello Fresh, who have just set up brand new premises in Derby. They are an innovative and fast-growing company taking advantage of Derby’s location at the heart of the UK, and bringing jobs and investment to our region. The UK is one of the largest markets, and plans are in place to eventually employ over 400 local people in Spondon.
It was great to visit the site and meet the team who are designing and distributing huge numbers of meal kits every week, all over the country. I also learnt about their ambitions to reduce food waste where possible, and sourcing their ingredients sustainably.
