This week, I visited the Babington Hospital Vaccination Centre, where volunteers and staff have given out over 70,000 vaccinations over the course of the pandemic - thank you to everyone who has delivered this monumental achievement.
This effort has been supported by generous volunteers who have given up huge amounts of their time - I spoke to two volunteers at the centre who had done over 100 shifts each.
Getting vaccinated, and in particular getting a booster jab, remains our best protection against Covid-19, so if you are eligible, please do book your booster jab (or attend a walk-in centre) to protect yourself and those around you.
