I have been closely monitoring the situation regarding the closure of Ockbrook School in Mid Derbyshire.

In order to ensure that the Government is aware and taking such actions as are appropriate, I spoke with Ministers and requested a meeting with the relevant officials at the Department of Education, which took place yesterday.

I raised the concerns of my constituents and asked that they look closely at this case and any possible solutions.
