On Thursday 30 September, I attended and spoke at the Rolling Stock Networking Event, a rail industry trade show held at Derby Arena.
I addressed the exhibitors and the conference attendees about Derby's central role in the UK rail industry, and why I believe it is so important that the Headquarters of Great British Railways should therefore be situated in Derby.
It was fantastic to see the incredible enthusiasm for Derby's rail industry and the potential it has to continue to grow in the future.
