I recently took part in an Author’s Licensing (ALCS) Westminster quiz and was delighted to win £100 worth of National Book Tokens, to donate to a school within my Mid-Derbyshire constituency.  St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School in Stanley, Derbyshire was the lucky school to be selected. 

On Friday 25th June 2021, I visited St Andrew’s CofE Primary, during their assembly, and presented the book tokens to the pupils and the Headteacher, Mrs Elizabeth Stanley-Wainwright.  I found the pupils very engaging, and we talked about my role as an MP.
