I was delighted to visit Wathall’s Funeral Directors in Allestree recently and meet with the Branch Manager, Amanda Howitt. Wathall’s is the longest established family-owned funeral directors in Derby and its Allestree branch is one of its newest. The Company Managing Director is Helen Wathall MBE, who is the fifth generation of her family to run the business. Amanda told me about the range of services that Wathall’s offers and showed me around the branch which is bright, modern and has a calming and relaxed atmosphere.
