I was delighted to visit SureScreen Diagnostics' huge new manufacturing and distribution centre, creating hundreds of new jobs in our area.
SureScreen is a long-established family firm, and is now a major provider of Covid-19 lateral flow tests.
One of these machines can assemble 2,000 tests an hour, helping to support the Government's testing programme which, along with the fantastic vaccination effort, has allowed us to ease the restrictions which we had to live with during the pandemic.
