As part of Care Home Open Week, I recently visited Aspen Court Care Home in Spondon.
It was wonderful to meet the manager, staff and residents at Aspen Court, and to hear about how they have dealt with the aftershocks of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Care Home Week is also about recognising the wonderful work which care homes do in our local communities. Hundreds of care homes took part across the UK, and opened their doors to the public to shine a light on the work they do supporting thousands of people on a daily basis.
