Last week, I visited Helping Hooves in Little Eaton – a social not-for-profit farm which supports those in need across Derbyshire, including those with substance and alcohol misuse issues, eating disorders, and mental health issues.
They have horses, chickens, cats, ferrets, goats and sheep and it was fantastic to meet the committed staff who look after the animals and involve them in the peer support group recovery programmes.
If you would like to find out more about Helping Hooves and the important work they do in our community, please see their website here.
