I was very pleased to visit Belper Town FC to see their new facilities and hear about their recovery after flooding and the Covid pandemic. Belper Town AFC have succeeded in building a brand new 4G pitch and installing an irrigation system on their turf pitches.
Sports facilities and teams are at the heart of our community, often as in this case pillars of voluntary service, and so I was delighted to show my support to this important community institution.
