I was delighted to visit Derby-based rail manufacturer Alstom and see their innovative and world-class facility, which employs so many local people, including many of my Mid-Derbyshire constituents.
Alstom’s presence is a great example of why it would make sense for the Headquarters of Great British Railways to be located in Derby – the heart of the UK’s historic rail network and the home of railway innovation for the future.
