As the MP for Mid Derbyshire, I proudly attended Remembrance Day services in Belper and in Spondon to lay a Remembrance Wreath.
We lay wreaths to remember those who fought and died, particularly those from our communities in Mid Derbyshire, in the two World Wars and in defence of our nation in all conflicts since.
Thank you to all those who attended to pay their respects, and to the organisers of the events for facilitating wonderfully moving, powerful and respectful ceremonies of remembrance.
