This week I held my bi-annual Taste of Derbyshire event in Parliament with my colleague Heather Wheeler MP for South Derbyshire.
It was fantastic to see people in Westminster - including MPs, Government Ministers, Parliamentary staff, Lords and Baronesses - sampling some of the best food and drink in the country. And all, of course, from right here in Derbyshire.
From Mid-Derbyshire in particular, it was a pleasure to welcome Bluebell Dairy, Pat A Cake, Derbyshire Tea and WithersGin. From around the county, they were joined by Darley Abbey Distillery, Nestle, Croots Farm Shop & Cafe and Derby Pyclet Parlour
Here are just a few photos from the event, which was attended by hundreds of people. I was also pleased to see Luke Gardiner for Mid Derbyshire there too, who has pledged to continue running these events if elected as the next MP.
