I was delighted to visit The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield and meet with the newly elected pupils of the student council. Within this meeting, I discussed my role as the Mid Derbyshire MP and current political news. I was very interested to learn from the pupils about their roles on the school council and how it benefits the school. This led to a discussion on the committees created at the school, and the improvements the pupils wish to implement for the new academic year.
A Q&A session followed and I was pleased to answer a wide range of questions - a very enjoyable and worthwhile visit.
