After raising the issue in Parliament, the next stage of my campaign to restore our World Heritage Site involved bringing together key local stakeholders.
I am grateful to those who attended for an extremely productive meeting, and our agreement to come together round an action plan to support our globally significant cultural assets – the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.
This comes after I raised the issue in the House of Commons with Ministers, and invited the Heritage Minister to Mid-Derbyshire to see the site for himself.
