Happy St George’s Day! I was at the parade in Belper on Sunday 21st April with Scout leaders and the crowds watching all the uniformed marchers including scouts and guides right down to brownies, cubs and rainbows.
I was also pleased to be invited to attend a reception at Speaker's House in Parliament to celebrate the day.
Thanks to all their volunteer leaders who work tirelessly all year round. Without them no young people would be able to participate in some amazing activities.
