I was delighted to visit the Lawn Primary School recently. I spoke to the pupils about my role as an MP and about what my work involves both in Westminster and Mid Derbyshire. I fielded questions posed by children who were on the school parliament.
I was given a tour of the school by Head Boy, Seb, and Head Girl, Ava. I was most impressed by the library areas the pupils had available, particularly by the excellent range of books on offer.
