Calling all Entrepreneurs in Mid-Derbyshire
I am asking constituents to get in touch if you know an entrepreneur that you would like me to nominate for the Entrepreneur Awards supported by Octopus, Springboard. As your MP, it has been brilliant to see the talent and innovation of the people in Mid Derbyshire. Over the last few years, our world-leading entrepreneurs have started and grown fantastic businesses which have really made a difference for our local community and beyond. This is why Octopus Group has launched these awards, to shine a light on and celebrate those who have strived to make communities a better place. Octopus Group has asked MPs to nominate entrepreneurs in their constituencies who have achieved just that, be that by starting and growing a business to support local growth, using resources to support local communities, or finding innovative ways of making their business more sustainable.
I know lots of entrepreneurs who have done this, and I want to recognise and celebrate as many of you as possible. So, if you are a business owner or you know of an entrepreneur who wants to be nominated, I want to hear from you. Please contact my office via [email protected] Nominations are open until the 8th December 2023. The entries will then be reviewed by a panel of entrepreneurs and politicians — with award winners having the opportunity to receive £5,000 worth of scale up advice from experts within Octopus. If successful you will be invited to the Octopus headquarters to meet with founder Chris Hulatt and discuss first-hand how they can grow their business.
