This summer, it was great to see the Ukrainian Youth Centre’s Summer Camp open day and meet parents and children having a fabulous experience.
The camp gives Ukrainian children aged 3 to 17 the opportunity to be immersed in Ukrainian culture and language for six-weeks.
Given the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, I was delighted seeing so many members from the Ukrainian diaspora and refugees having an enjoyable time in Derbyshire.
