Pauline Latham OBE MP welcomes grant made to Woodlands FC

Pauline Latham OBE MP, the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Mid-Derbyshire has warmly welcomed the awarding of a £5,000 grant to Woodlands FC.
The grant was provided by the Football Foundation and will be used by Woodlands FC in order to enable the club to build new teams.
The £5,000 grant will be used in order to recruit new players, and to grow the game. Woodlands FC have also focused on supporting younger players in the club, which will allow the club to progress as a whole, now and in the future.
Pauline Latham OBE MP said:
“I am absolutely thrilled that the Woodlands FC have been awarded this grant by the Football Foundation, which will do so much to develop the club.
Woodlands FC is an excellent club, and they can now further their talent with this wonderful new grant – it is so important to encourage youth engagement in sport an healthy lifestyles, and this grant does just that!
I would like to send my congratulations to all the players at Woodlands, to the Chairman, Mike Rose, and to all those who made this wonderful grant possible”
